Frequently Asked Question
Before you contact us, our frequently asked questions may provide the answers you are looking for.
01 Do You Provide A Measurement Service?
No, we donβt offer a measurement service. We only supply splashbacks. Please view our comprehensive measurement guide to learn how to measure up for a glass splashback.
02 Do You Provide An Installation Service?
No, we donβt offer an installation service. We only supply splashbacks for DIY Installs. Our splashbacks are easy to install and installation instructions can be provided with all orders. Get in touch if you have any questions regarding installation.
03 How Long Will My Order Take?
Our estimated dispatch time is 15-20 Working Days, depending on order complexity, for all custom size clear glass splashbacks.
Please note the lead times above are only a guide and do vary based on our current workload.Β Should you need an order soon or if you want to confirm our current lead time please get in touch. We operate Monday - Friday and are closed weekends and bank holidays.
We recommend that you don't book anyone to fit your glass splashback until it has arrived safely and has been checked over by yourself.
04 Can I Get A Sample?
Yes, we can send out samples. We highly recommend seeing one before placing an order.
Please note each sample is made to order and we charge a fee to cover the cost of manufacture and postage. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund the cost of the sample.
05 What Type Of Glass Do You Use For Your Clear Glass Splashbacks?
Our clear glass splashbacks are made from premium toughened Opti-Whiteβ’ glass, delivering a stunning, ultra-clear finish. All of our splashbacks have polished edges for safe handling.
Available in 4mm, 6mm, 8mm or 10mm thickness.
06 What Thickness Should I Choose For My Clear Glass Splashback?
6mm is our most popular thickness, closely followed by 4mm. They are both more than sufficient to go behind a kitchen hob. 8mm or 10mm thick splashbacks are usually chosen by businesses who are installing in high traffic commercial environments.
07 How Do I Fix My Clear Glass Splashback To The Wall?Β
We can put pre-drilled holes in your glass and supply you with chrome mirror screws. You can add this to your order on the product page.Β
Installation instructions are provided with every order and can be viewed online here.
08 Are Your Clear Glass Splashbacks Safe To Be Used Behind A Hob?
Yes. We only use toughened glass for our clear glass splashbacks, which is safe to be used behind any hob or stovetop.
Toughened glass is typically resilient enough to withstand heat up to 250Β°C, so this material is ideal for kitchen glass splashbacks, where it will likely be exposed to high temperatures, steam and moisture.
However, clear glass splashbacks are not designed to come into direct contact with a heat source. Therefore, itβs important to maintain a minimum gap of 100mm between the edge of the stovetop and the splashback, especially if it is a gas hob with open flames. They are heat resistant, not flame retardant.Β
Can You Cut Shapes Out Of The Glass Splashbacks?
Shapes can be cut out of Glass Splashbacks to accommodate cooker hoods, sockets etc. Send us an email with your requirements and a drawing of your splashback and we will provide a quote as soon as possible. Please refer to our measurement guide for more information.
09 Can I Have Holes Or Cut Outs In The Glass Splashback?
Yes. Glass Splashbacks can be cut in many ways to allow for sockets, drill holes or shaping to a cooker hood. The accuracy of these is vital because we cut prior to toughening and once toughened no changes to the glass can be made. Please refer to our measurement guide for more information.
10 Do You Offer Different Coloured Screws & Mirror Caps?
We currently only offer chrome capped mirror screws. These will be supplied with your order if you choose βHoles & Mirror Screwsβ as your fixing option.Β
If you require a different colour you can purchase them from your local DIY store or Ebay for a few Β£.
Please note, if you plan on ordering your own fixings you will still need to select "Holes & Mirror Screws" so that drill holes are put into your splashback.
11 How Do I Measure Up For A Clear Glass Splashback?
Please view our measurement guide to learn how to measure up for a kitchen glass splashback. We recommend triple checking your measurements before ordering and asking a tradesperson, friend or family member to also measure for a second opinion.
12 How Do I Clean A Clear Glass Splashback?
You can clean your glass splashback with a non-abrasive micro fibre cloth, glass cleaner and a bit of elbow grease. White vinegar mixed with water is also a great alternative to glass cleaner. Never use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
We recommend adding our easy clean coating to the splashback to help reduce cleaning time and frequency. Easy Clean is a polymer coating that protects glass with a barrier that repels water, soil, stains, soap scum, rust and hard water mineral deposits.
13 Are Your Glass Splashbacks Made In The UK?
Yes, all of our glass splashbacks are manufactured in the UK.

16 What Is Your Returns & Refund Policy?
Please check for any visible signs of damage to the packaging of your order before signing for the delivery. Any items damaged in transit should be noted at time of delivery, and if possible delivery should be refused and returned to us.
If the Glass Splashbacks arrive defective this should also be noted at time of delivery and returned via the courier. Where you have asked us to leave your order in a safe place at your premises or with a friend or neighbour you do so at your own risk. We recommend that you have the friend or neighbour check your order on your behalf.
Where possible, we reserve the right to repair any defects rather than remaking that particular piece of glass or issuing any form of compensation. If the glass is fitted we are unable to consider any claims of damage.
If the order has arrived broken, we do not refund the order but will have a replacement with you as soon as possible. Due to the nature of the product, unfortunately on the rare occasion breakages can occur.
Our splashbacks are bespoke products made to order to your measurements. As it is a bespoke product we do not offer refunds.
