We recommend that you don't book anyone to fit your glass splashback until it has arrived safely and has been checked over by yourself.
Yes, we can send out samples. We highly recommend ordering a sample before placing an order.
Ordering samples allows you to see the actual colour and quality finish of your chosen splashback before you commit to purchasing a full-sized one. This is a great way to see how your splashback will look together with your units, worktops, tile and/or paint.
Splashbacks can look different depending on the lighting conditions in a room so we recommend all customers order a sample first.
Please note each sample is made to order and we charge a fee to cover the cost of manufacture and postage. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund the cost of the sample.
All of our samples are 100mm x 100mm.
You can order samples here or via the product page.
No, we don't have a showroom. We trade online only.
We only use toughened glass for our colour, printed, clear and toughenedΒ mirror glass splashbacks, making them safe to be used behind any hob or stovetop.Β
Toughened glass is typically resilient enough to withstand heat up to 250Β°C, so this material is ideal for kitchen glass splashbacks, where it will likely be exposed to high temperatures, steam and moisture.
However, glass splashbacks are not designed to come into direct contact with a heat source. Therefore, itβs important to maintain a minimum gap of 100mm between the edge of the stovetop and the splashback, especially if it is a gas hob with open flames. They are heat resistant, not flame retardant.Β
Our safety backed mirrors are NOT suitable to go behind a gas hob. These are only suitable to go behind sinks or induction hobs. Visit the product page to learn more.
Please view our measurement guide to learn how to measure up for a kitchen glass splashback. We recommend triple checking your measurements before ordering and asking a tradesperson, friend or family member to also measure for a second opinion.
6mm is our most popular thickness, closely followed by 4mm. They are both more than sufficient to go behind a kitchen hob. 8mm or 10mm thick splashbacks are usually chosen by businesses who are installing in high traffic commercial environments.
We ship our glass splashbacks to Mainland UK and Northern Ireland. If you are elsewhere please get in touch and we can provide a quotation for shipping.
Our splashbacks are all dispatched with a fully tracked courier. Tracking details will be provided once your item has been dispatched via text message or email, depending on the courier.
Yes! If you canβt find a colour you like from our selection then simply select the colour match option and type in the brand and name of the colour you wish us to match. Please note, if the colour is not on our system we may require a sample/swatch of the paint so we can match this in our lab. We will contact you via email if we require one.
They will look almost the same. Donβt forget images and colours on screen vary from device to device. This is as contrast and brightness settings of a screen can be different. Colours on screen also look different from real glass. We highly recommend ordering a sample. Ordering a sample will allow you to see the actual colour and quality of finish before you commit to purchasing a full-size splashback.
Just like with wall paint, colours can vary slightly between batches. If you're trying to match a painted wall with a new splashback, keep in mind that wall paint typically has a matt finish, while glass splashbacks have a high-gloss finish, which can affect how the colour appears. Additionally, the longer a wall has been painted, the more its colour may have faded over time, making an exact match more difficult.
Please note, you are viewing the painted colour through the glass and the lighting conditions in your kitchen can alter its appearance. For example, your splashback will look different in the day to how it looks at night, due to the amount of light in the room. LED downlights can also change its appearance.
There will always be some variation between the colour of the glass and wall.
We highly recommend ordering a sample before you commit to purchasing a full-size splashback.
Yes. We can print your own image directly onto the glass, however a high resolution file is required to ensure a good quality print. If you are unsure about the quality of the file, please send it to us and we will advise you.
We can also print any image from the standard Shutterstock library as part of the price. We recommend taking a look on their website, as you may find a similar image to yours in much higher quality.
Shapes can be cut out of Glass Splashbacks to accommodate cooker hoods, sockets etc. Send us an email with your requirements and a drawing of your splashback and we will provide a quote as soon as possible. Please refer to our measurement guide for more information.
No. We currently only sell standard silver, grey and bronze mirrors. These are available toughened or un-toughened with safety backing.
We currently only offer chrome capped mirror screws. These will be supplied with your order if you choose βHoles & Mirror Screwsβ as your fixing option.Β
If you require a different colour you can purchase them from your local DIY store or Ebay for a few Β£.
Please note, if you plan on ordering your own fixings you will still need to select "Holes & Mirror Screws" so that drill holes are put into your splashback.
No. We are unable to tell you which colours are a colour match based on a photo. Images look different to how something looks in person. They can look different when viewed on different devices due to brightness and contrast settings.
To provide a colour match we need a physical sample so we can analyse it.
No, we donβt offer an express service. We manufacture our splashbacks in the order they are placed by customers.
Please check for any visible signs of damage to the packaging of your order before signing for the delivery. Any items damaged in transit should be noted at time of delivery, and if possible delivery should be refused and returned to us.
If the Glass Splashbacks arrive defective this should also be noted at time of delivery and returned via the courier. If the Glass Splashback does not fit we cannot issue you a refund if the measurements match the measurements on your invoice or are in tolerance, so please check your invoice prior to completing payment.
Please ensure that you have thoroughly checked your order before signing for it. Once signed for any claims made by you will be validated at our discretion and should be raised within 24 hours of receipt.
Where you have asked us to leave your order in a safe place at your premises or with a friend or neighbour you do so at your own risk. We recommend that you have the friend or neighbour check your order on your behalf.
Where possible, we reserve the right to repair any defects rather than remaking that particular piece of glass or issuing any form of compensation. If the glass is fitted we are unable to consider any claims of damage.
If the order has arrived broken, we do not refund the order but will have a replacement with you as soon as possible. Due to the nature of the product, unfortunately on the rare occasion breakages can occur.
Our splashbacks are bespoke products made to order to your measurements, colour and design. As it is a bespoke product we do not offer refunds. You can view our full terms and conditions here.

If you are installing your splashback with our specialist splashback adhesive, 1 tube per square metre is sufficient. It can also be used as a sealant around the edges of the splashback.
Once you make payment, you'll receive an automated order confirmation via email. Please check this email for any errors. If you donβt receive the email please check your spam folder before contacting us.
If you have ordered a splashback that requires cutouts we will send across production drawings for you to double check and approve before we cut the glass.
The manufacturing time of a bespoke made to measure kitchen glass splashback is on average, 15-20 working days. Stock sized glass orders can take less time to produce. We aim for around 7-10 days to dispatch stock sized orders. Dispatch times can occasionally be impacted upon by public holiday dates, but in these instances we will advise where possible of any potential delays when processing your order.
Yes, many of our customers have installed glass splashbacks over existing tiles.
Easy Clean is a clear polymer coating, which we can apply to our splashbacks for an additional fee. The polymer coating creates a smooth, non-stick surface that repels water and dirt, making the splashback significantly easier to clean and maintain.
Normal gloss and emulsion paint is unsuitable for glass splashbacks, specialist glass paint must be used so we would always recommend ordering the splashback from us pre coated. If you choose to paint your own glass splashback with household paint it will most probably look great for a short period of time before it all starts flaking off.
No, once the glass is toughened no cutting or drilling can be undertaken. Toughened glass is specifically designed to distribute pressure and will shatter if the tension within the glass is fragmented.
All cutting and drilling must be made prior to the toughening process.
Yes! Installing your kitchen glass splashback using our splashback adhesive or pre-drilled holes are both straight forward for anyone who is confident with DIY. If you have ordered a larger panel you will need 2 people to handle the glass. View our installation guide here.
Either are perfectly suitable, itβs entirely down to your personal preference.Β If youβre not confident with a drill, then the glue option may be for you.
The maximum size we can deliver is 3000mm x 1500mm, due to courier restrictions.
If you require a splashback larger than this we recommend splitting it up into smaller sections. This will make a DIY installation much easier.
Our colour, printed and mirror splashbacks are opaque and therefore nothing can be seen through them.
You canβt install our clear glass splashbacks with adhesive. You must use holes & mirror screws or an alternative system for a clear splashback.
Please note not all adhesives are suitable for splashbacks. Some have chemicals that can react with the paint. You must use a clear low modulus neutral cure adhesive. We recommend using our one as it is tried and tested. Reach out if you are unsure of what product to use.
It is very important that your wall is sound and in good condition before attempting to install your kitchen glass splashback. The wall needs to be free of bows, twists or raised areas over approximately 2-3mm. Any sharp areas need to be sanded. Unevenness less than that depth can be taken up by the adhesive. Donβt install over wet paint or plaster. The wall must be 100% dry before installation.
Due to the bespoke nature of the product, no amendments can be made once the production process has started.
